The different types of training courses available are:-

B & E	Cars with trailer. For driving tests passed after 1.1.97 the driver is restricted to a motor vehicle with a MAM not exceeding 3500 kg having not more than 8 passenger seats with a trailer up to 750 kg.
C1	Medium sized vehicles. For driving tests passed after 1.1.97. Lorries between 3500 kg and 7500 kg with a trailer up to 750 kg.
C1 & E	Medium sized vehicles with trailer. Lorries between 3500 kg and 7500 kg with a trailer over 750 kg total weight not more than 12000 kg.
C	Large vehicles. Vehicles over 7500 kg with a trailer up to 750 kg.
C & E	Large vehicles with trailer. Vehicles over 7500 kg with a trailer over 750 kg.
D1	Minibuses. Vehicles between 9 and 16 passenger seats with a trailer up to 750 kg.
D1 & E	Minibuses with trailer. Vehicles between 9 and 16 seats with trailer over 750 kg. The combination weight must not exceed 12000 kg and the MAM of the trailer must not exceed the unladen weight of the towing vehicle.
D	Buses. Any bus with more than 16 passenger seats with a trailer up to 750 kg.
D & E	Buses with trailer. Any bus with more than 16 passenger seats with a trailer over 750 kg.
